About
The mission of the Academic Success Center is to provide comprehensive support services in all academic subjects offered by SLCC through individual and group tutoring as well as supervised practice and drill to further assist students in strengthening their basic skills and preparing them for successful completion of collegiate work.
The Academic Success Center is housed on the South Louisiana Community College's Lafayette Campus. We are located in the Ardoin Building, Room 105

I literally would not be making it if it weren't for James. I'm beyond thankful for SLCC offering free tutoring, because otherwise I wouldn't be able to afford it. I've had many math tutors over the years (Middle school, high school etc) and James is by far the best tutor I've ever had. This resource is invaluable and likely the main reason I have confidence in my ability to obtain a stem degree. Thank you so so much! Please keep this available to students.

I have been getting tutoring with Mr. James and he is amazing. He shows me different ways to keeping my answer organized by using Excel. I am currently taking Math 2020 and he breaks everything down so that it is understandable.
